Welcome to Lindholme Motor Sports Club of Doncaster.

Formed in 1965 by a group of motor sport enthusiasts from the former RAF Lindholme, and still based in Doncaster, LMSC is one of the largest and most active clubs in the Yorkshire region. We specialise in both Stage and Road rallies and autotests but we are involved in lots more activities, particularly on the social side.

During the summer months in addition to a six round autotest championship, we run treasure hunts and barbeques. We have film nights and a quiz championship which we run on club nights, and whenever we can arrange them we have trade visits - the latest being in August, when members visited Msport in Cumbria.

Robin Hood Forest Stages Rally

Saturday / Sunday, 14th / 15th March 2009

The Summer Holidays are over (hah! – what Summer?) and so we now turn to what we do the best – spending the Autumn and Winter organising another fantastic stages rally.

The 2009 Robin Hood Forest Stages Rally (RHFSR) will not be a round of the British Historic Rally Championship, but the event will carry on, and be a success. A small team has been meeting to make progress on format, championships, sponsors and venues. There will be a Modern 2-day event for the first time, to match that of the Historics, and initial research suggests that it could well be very popular. The Historics will still have their rally.
